Obituary Writer
For the family member who has 24 to 48 hours and 200 to 500 words to summarize a whole life for the newspaper. Fill in the facts (full name, dates, places, surviving family in order, career and community, two to three defining traits, service details, memorial contribution preference) and the writer returns a newspaper-ready obituary in the rigid genre form editors expect: opening announcement, biographical arc, survivors paragraph, service details, memorial contribution line. The full assembled text is ready to paste into the newspaper submission form, plus every section is copy-ready on its own for forms that take one field at a time. Three word-count tiers because newspapers charge by the word (Short 200w, Standard 350w, Full 500w). Faith register (Secular, Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Humanist) adjusts phrasing conventions without the family having to know them. Every obituary includes a "facts not supplied" receipt so the family can see what was omitted rather than wondering what the tool might have invented; the tool NEVER invents a name, date, place, or anecdote the family did not supply.
