Volunteer Coach Practice Plan
For the parent who agreed to coach their kid's team and is opening the laptop the night before the first practice with no idea what sixty minutes with eight-year-olds actually looks like. Tell the tool the sport, the age band, the practice length, what you want to work on, how many kids are showing up, and what equipment is in the trunk, and one structured pass produces a minute-by-minute practice card you can run from your phone: a short setup checklist, a dynamic warmup, two or three age-appropriate drills (each with a text-described cone-and-ball setup, how it runs, and two coaching cues), a small-sided scrimmage sized to the sport and the age band, a cool-down with a huddle message, and the one-line text you can paste into the team chat afterward. For football and other contact sports the plan automatically prepends an age-appropriate dynamic warmup, appends a 'when in doubt, sit them out' concussion-protocol deferral pointing at the CDC HEADS UP course, and refuses to prescribe tackling below the standard contact age, logging every guardrail into a safety_notes receipt so you can see exactly why.
